It runs but will not cool
The outdoor unit is humming, air is moving, and the house keeps climbing. Usually a capacitor, a contactor, or a low charge from a leak.
It trips the breaker
Resets fine, then trips again an hour later. Something is pulling more current than it should — and resetting it repeatedly is how compressors die.
The indoor coil is a block of ice
Almost always airflow or refrigerant charge. Shutting it off to thaw does not fix why it froze.
Water where water should not be
Ceiling stain, overflowing pan, or the safety switch keeps shutting the system down. Nine times out of ten it is a plugged drain line.
It smells or sounds wrong
Burning, musty, rattling, screeching. Describe it on the phone — half the time we know what to bring before we leave.
It short cycles
On for two minutes, off for two minutes, never satisfying the thermostat. Hard on the compressor and expensive to ignore.

$89, and it is waived when you approve the repair. We find the actual cause, not the first thing we see.

Straight out of the book, on the screen, before anything gets taken apart.
You decide
Approve it and we fix it that visit if we have the part. No is a complete answer.
If we cannot fix it, you do not pay for a repair. You pay the $89 diagnostic, you get an honest answer in writing, and you are free to take it anywhere.
What it costs
Every repair has a set price in our book, and it is the same price for you as for the house down the street. Tell us what it is doing and we will tell you the number before we start.
