System replacement
When a repair stops making sense, we will tell you.
Nobody enjoys spending five thousand dollars on something they cannot see. Before we quote a system, we show you the math on fixing the one you have — and if the repair is the better buy, we say so and go fix it.
How we decide with you
Three things drive it. None of them are a sales script.
The repair against what it is worth
A $600 repair on a fifteen-year-old unit is a different conversation than the same repair on a six-year-old one. We do that arithmetic in front of you.
What refrigerant it takes
R-22 systems are on borrowed time and the price of the refrigerant shows it. We will tell you the real number rather than use it as a scare tactic.
What has already failed
One dead capacitor means nothing. A compressor, a coil and a board inside two years means the system is telling you something.
What a replacement includes
Everything, and it is on the quote in writing.
- A load calculation on your house, not a guess off the old nameplate
- A written quote with model numbers on it, so you can price-shop us honestly
- Permits pulled where the city requires them
- Old equipment hauled off and disposed of properly
- Startup, charge verification, and a walkthrough of your new thermostat
- One year on our labor, manufacturer warranty on the equipment, and we file the claim
Sizing
Sized right, or none of the rest matters.
An oversized system cools the air without pulling the humidity out, and a Denton August will make you feel every bit of that. We size to the house — square footage, insulation, window load, duct capacity — because the wrong tonnage is a problem no amount of good equipment fixes.
No commissioned salesman. Quotes are free and nobody here earns more by selling you a bigger system, because there is nobody here but us.
